1.         HOW TO ENTER
1.1       Visit Best Health Magazine (published by Reader’s Digest Magazine Canada Limited) website located at www.besthealthmag.ca  and Reader’s Digest Magazine website located at www.rd.ca and follow the instructions on how to register. The draw period closes on February 22, 2010 at 23:59:59 (EST). Website tracking determines date and time of entry. 
1.2       Only one entry per person will be accepted for the duration of this prize draw. No purchase is necessary to enter and to win.

2.         ELIGIBILITY
2.1 This draw is open to Canadian residents who, at the time of participation, have reached the age of majority according to the law of the province or territory in which they reside. Employees of Reader’s Digest Association (Canada) ULC (RD), their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, dealers, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
2.2 This prize draw is void outside of Canada.

3.         ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Log on to www.besthealthmag.ca  and follow directions provided to register.
• All entry requirements specified on our website must be followed in order to be entered for a chance to win the prize package offered.

4.         PRIZES AND AWARDING
On or around March 1, 2010 one (1) winner will be drawn from all entries received on time.
The winner will be awarded the following prizes: (for a total value of $ 4,772.00):

• - An all inclusive trip for two to Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa in Riviera Maya for a 7-night stay. Trip must be completed between April 15th, 2010 to Dec 15th, 2010 based on double for 7 nights, subject to availability, voucher is issued to the winner.
  This travel package may be worth up to $3,772 (incl. taxes) depending on location of International Airport and includes:
  - Return airfare in economy class departing from the closest available Canadian gateway offered by Signature Vacations to the Riviera Maya, Mexico
  - Transfers to destination (Airport-resort-Airport)
  - 7-night stay in double occupancy in a standard room
  - Unlimited food and drinks
  - Outdoor activities including: waterskiing, kayaking, banana boat rides, use of volleyball courts, tennis, etc.

The prize includes:

• Two (2) return economy airfare tickets for winner and guest from the closest available Canadian gateway offered by Signature Vacations to the Riviera Maya, Mexico

• Seven (7) nights standard accommodations (single room, dual occupancy) atthe Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa, Riviera Maya

• Transfers between the airport and hotel in destination

• Trip taxes, departure taxes (taxes paid in destination if applicable) to be paid by Best Health

The Prize winner's and his/her guest's responsibility to provide for any additional expenses not included in the Prize as described herein, including, but not limited to meals & drinks not included in the meal plan, telephone, room service, gratuities, in-room movies, taxis, transportation to and from the winner's home and the Gateway airport nearest his/her Canadian residence, optional travel insurance, expenses relating to pre & post travel such as connector flights, stopover hotels, and all items of a personal nature are not included and are the winner’s responsibility. 

The winner and his/her guests must depart from and return to the same airport. The winner and his/her guest must be able to travel at the same times and dates to be selected by them and approved by SIGNATURE VACATIONS or forfeit the Prize. The Prize winner and traveling companion must hold and present a valid Canadian passport, including all necessary government documentation to travel to Mexico and be at least 18 years of age or older. SIGNATURE VACATIONS will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates.  All tickets issued in conjunction with the Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used.  The Prize may not be transferred except by SIGNATURE VACATIONS or as otherwise indicated herein.  Only the listed Prize will be awarded and no substitutions, cash equivalents or redemptions will be made, except that SIGNATURE VACATIONS reserves the right to substitute any Prize package to another hotel or destination if necessary. The substitute Prize, if required, will be of equal or greater value.  Travel arrangements and reservations regarding the flight must be made according to instructions given to the Prize winner. All documentation relating to travel in conjunction with this trip is the winner’s personal responsibility.  For up to date information on documents required by adults as well as accepted forms of ID for travel please contact the Consulate of the country in which the winner is traveling to. SIGNATURE VACATIONS strongly recommends that the winner always travel with a valid passport.

SIGNATURE VACATIONS recommends that the winner and companion purchase Medical/Cancellation Insurance (all cancellations and/or changes are subject to penalties as outlined in our current brochure). Promotional prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-changeable and have no cash value. Please note that the insurance the winner  may purchase through SIGNATURE VACATIONS for trip cancellation prior to departure covers refunds for only any money that the winner has paid to Signature in connection to the trip and not the full market value.

The winner’s choice of travel dates is subject to availability at the time of booking and are the discretion of SIGNATURE VACATIONS. The prize must be fulfilled by April 15th,2010 to Dec 15th, 2010.  Black-out dates apply and include, Spring Break 2010, March Break 2010 and special events. (No extensions will be permitted.)  All arrangements made are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash. Trips must be taken as awarded.  Should the prize only be redeemed in part, the winner effectively forfeits the use of the unused portion of the prize and has no further claim to it.
In the unlikely event that SIGNATURE VACATIONS is no longer offering the destination, SIGNATURE VACATIONS reserves the right to substitute a similar destination or to alter applicable dates of travel without liability.

• 1 year supply of Jamieson products (valued at $500.00). Winner will be required to pick products from the online catalogue. The winner will be given a link to go to ordering products as well as a contact name.  Choice of products will then be shipped to winner’s home.

• 1 year supply of Welch’s product. Fifty (52) free bottle coupons will be sent to winner (valued at $300.00).

• A Wanarco prize package consisting of a voucher for two (2) bras and two (2) panties (valued at $100.00)

• One (1) Glysomed & Blistex products prize package (valued at $100.00)

Total prizing award = $4,772.00

The Prizes are non-transferable, and must be accepted as awarded with no cash substitutions. RD reserves the right to substitute the prizes for ones of equal or greater value. The prizes are guaranteed to be awarded. By entering the draw, entrants agree to abide by the prize draw rules, and the decisions of RD are final on all matters regarding this draw. In order to win a prize, participants must register at either the www.besthealthmag.ca or the www.rd.ca  registration sites. The qualifying winner will be notified by mail, shortly after the draw close date. The winner must sign a declaration and claim form to claim his/her prize. The winner will receive his/her Prizes approximately 30 days from the date the release form is received at RD.

5.         CONDITIONS
5.1 RD is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Only fully completed entry forms are eligible. Proof of submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt. All entries become the sole property of RD and will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event an insufficient number of entries are received, we reserve the right to cancel the Draw and shall be under no obligation to award the prizes. Entries not satisfying these Official Rules will be automatically disqualified. All entrants must have a valid email address. In case of dispute as to identity of entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. ‘Authorized Account Holder’ is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internal access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address.
5.2 RD reserves the right to refuse submissions deemed inappropriate or offensive in any way.
5.3 Participation in the draw and acceptance of prize constitute the winner’s permission for RD to use his/her name, photograph, biographical information, and film and/or any statements made by the winner regarding the draw (if applicable) without notice or additional compensation. By participating, entrants and winner agree to release and hold harmless RD, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in draw, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any contest-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement or any other intellectual property-related cause of action. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this draw in any way shall be disqualified.
5.4 Any attempted form of entry other than as set forth above is prohibited. RD is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone, or other communication malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the draw, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this draw or downloading or uploading any materials in this draw. RD reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this draw should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the draw. In such case, RD will select the winner from all eligible entries received. RD reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the draw or website. RD may prohibit an entrant from participating in the draw or winning a prize if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the draw by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or RD employees.
5.6 Caution: any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the draw may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6.         LEGAL
This prize draw complies with all Canadian laws. In Québec, the required duties have been paid. Quebec residents may submit any litigation respecting the conduct or organizing of a publicity contest to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
